Resulta que desde hace un par de meses, algunas agencias de casting de ese país comenzaron la búsqueda de personas con características físicas… peculiares (por decirlo de alguna forma).

Es decir, la producción de Amazon Prime Video va muy bien, pero han tenido algunos “problemitas” con el cast porque la isla tiene menos de 5 millones de habitantes.
Por esto, algunas agencias de casting lanzaron distintas convocatorias. Ve nomás:
BGT Actor Models and Talent, es una agencia de Auckland que se encarga de buscar extras para la serie del Señor de los Anillos.
Aunque apenas se viralizó, hace un par de meses publicó un video en Facebook en el que buscan gente chaparrita (menos de 1.5 metros), con “tez terrosa”, muuuuchas y muy marcadas arrugas, con “características faciales únicas y orejas y narices interesantes”.

También buscan a hombres con cabello largo y barba abundante (con aspecto de motociclista chopper) y la gente con problemas en el cutis es perfecta.
“Si tu aspecto es como de una bolsa de piel y tienes miles de arrugas, calificas”, dijo Sarah Valentine, directora de BGT, al Wall Street Journal.
Además necesitan personas con otros perfiles, como con pecas y otras con características físicas hispanas o euroasiáticas.
Otras agencias también han solicitado personas muy MUY velludas y chimuelas.
Por desgracia, para lxs mexicanes puede ser un poquitín complicado porque para obtener el trabajo en la serie del Señor de los Anillos es necesario vivir en Nueva Zelanda y tener una visa de trabajo.
